White Design are designing a new 1050 place (+ 400 6th Form) Academy and associated landscape to replace the existing Peers School in Littlemore, Oxford. Also on site is the Mabel Prichard school and an Adult Education Centre and Public Library. The design proposals are to produce a school that is an exemplar of sustainable design and construction.
This ethos informs every aspect, from its orientation on site, to the selection of natural materials and the use of natural ventilation, day lighting techniques and landscaping concept.
